333 Lincoln Way W. was once the local Ford Garage in the 1920's, owned and operated by the Diehl family.
On June 7th, 1929, Henry Ford motored across the Lincoln Highway in south central Pennsylvania. Making several stops at various locations in York and Adams Counties~
This trip included a visit to the York Motor Company, Henry got a flat tire, and what better way to pass the time but a buying spree at the local antique store~
As Henry traveled west, you can imagine the anticipation of folks at the New Oxford Ford Garage in hopes Henry Ford would stop.
Wouldn't you know, due to road construction, Henry was detoured through Hanover, then on to Gettysburg ~
